The Section Emergency Coordinator is appointed by the Section Manager to take care of all matters pertaining to emergency communications and ARES on a sectionwide basis.

Dan is a Minnesota certified Emergency Manager and former Nobles County Emergency Management Director. He currently works for Hennepin County Emergency Management as Senior Coordinator for Data Collaboration and Communication. He is also a certified Communications Unit Leader.

Assistant Section Emergency Coordinator - Operations

The ASEC-Operations position serves as deputy to the Section Emergency Coordinator.

Michael is currently the Director of the Bloomington Communications Group. 

Assistant Section Emergency Coordinator - Technologies

The ASEC-Technologies position formulates policies and create standards and procedures for statewide use of digital technologies with amateur radio and the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) organization.

Kevin's background is in computers and works for The Schwan Food Company in IT Operations.  He is also a CERT Instructor, ARMER Radio Instructor and NWS Skywarn Instructor.
